Who we are

èdoc architects is an Italian architecture and interior design studio founded in 2017 by architects Hande Yildiz Dottorini and Federico Dottorini after several professional paths obtained in Italy and Turkey.

A young and dynamic practice unifies two distinct training and professional paths, which complement each other; makes heterogeneity and the exchange of ideas, collaborations and comparison, an indispensable base of work to face the challenges of an increasingly specialized world.

Architect

Hande Yildiz Dottorini

Turkish, after graduating from ITU (Istanbul Technical University) in 2005, she started her professional career as an architect, working in building and interior design projects. From 2008 to 2011, she completed her studies in Politecnico di Milano Master of Science in Architecture. She worked in many prestigious companies in Italy and Turkey with national /international interior design projects, from private houses to retail. In 2017 she established èdoc architects with Federico Dottorini.

She is specialized in the interior design, creating moodboards, helping the clients to choose the materials, textures and colours that reflects the identity of the project. She is a restless critic of each phase and believes that precision and details are essential ingredients for a well designed and functioning project.

Architect

Federico Dottorini

Umbrian, after the Master’s Degree in Architecture achieved with honors at the Politecnico di Milano in 2013, he began his career working with Italian architecture firms in Milan and Perugia. In 2014, he moved to Istanbul, worked in a renowned architectural firm, specializing in architecture and planning. During this period, he realized numerous architectural projects with various scales, and many architectural competitions. In 2017 he established èdoc architects with Hande Yildiz Dottorini.

He adores multimedia visualization of the projects and is the social web geek of the company. He has particular interest in sustainable design and likes to investigate the new possibilities of materials and technologies. Obsessed with detail design, he never abandons a part of the project unsolved.

At èdoc architects we base our philosophy on an artisan way of working and by connecting deeply with the nature of the project to be realized.

Our studio has achieved many experiences and collaborations with heterogeneous teams and internationally renowned professional firms.

In èdoc architects we have merged our professional paths which, thanks also to our “ad hoc” woven collaborations, allow us to face and solve different design themes from the conception to the final realization.

Each project becomes a totally unique adventure for us, starting from the study and analysis of customer needs, arriving at the conception of an idea that, in continuous evolution, reaches the final project. Through design we try to address and solve specific problems by offering targeted solutions for each case, and ensuring maximum assistance during each design phase.

Construction Supervision

The project does not end on the drawing board, but comes to life only in the magic of the construction site. To be able to coordinate and manage all the energies involved, good managers are needed. We are always present in the realization of the project to be sure that the work carried out is exactly as expected.
